I know of Pinnacle Studio. Darkwing uses it and I used to have a copy somewhere...forget where it is though...anyway thats pretty easy to use. I think MAGIX also has its own movie editing software, Movie Edit Pro I believe.

Yes, that it's normal... it's a page script which allows you to have the same background for any place of the page...
