For the first 4 episodes the plot seems to follow this pastern.

"Oh no, something's wrong with the ship, and we are going to die!"

later:
"The ship saved us!!"

If this is the plot for every episode, I think the show will end faster than Firefly.

and i think they're using it to develop the characters and their internal struggles with each other. its good so far, nut i would agree, if the whole season is going to be like this, then it could get boring fast

I prefer downloading the xVid file than seeing on youtube... youtube renders reduce quality a lot...

even HD files loose a lot of quality... turning an HD file into flash isn't the best way to do it... that's why I don't make HD movies when I'm uploading for youtube in a while...

but its not even noticeable to the naked eye. trust me, i connected my laptop to our high def television and i played some HD vids in youtube and they looked..well..HD. Besides, I'm used to having to watch TV with noise and static in front of it, so a little youtube degradation doesn't phase me at all. and its quicker to load in youtube (at least for me) and I don't really want to download it, just watch it and wait for the DVDs to come out

Hmmm... you're right... YOU are used to watch tv with rain and stuff... I'm not used to watch TV at all (only a few weekly simpsons and futurama episodes, and the news....)

I've watched Air and I've started to watch Darkness 1 in my PC. Streaming. I don't really mind the degradation. I think Universe is like this:

Atlantis+Voyager=Universe

I mean, I don't dislike it, but I'm not loving it either, at least for now...

You're forgetting one thing... In Voyager they had control of the Ship... In Universe, the ship does whatever it pleases... I'm waitting for the part when they start considering "Destiny" as a living being, cause... This "Light" episode put me thinking about that possibility...

So, isn't that the definition of a living being? Something that is capable of adapt and change depending on the circunstances? It's not like I'm saying that the ship is like an carbon-based lifeform, but I'm saying that it behaves a lot like life itself...
